Job Description

As the MEH the Training and Recruitment Coordinator for the coatings division, you will establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to proactively plan and pipeline for future requirements taking ownership of the complete end to end recruitment process.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as an advisor and subject matter expert for the recruitment and selection process in line with relevant SQEP requirements within your discipline
  • Head up a team to conduct candidates screening and assessment to ensure top talent is hired 
  • Ensures due-diligence and compliance in accordance with UK Employment Law and Internal MEHA policy and procedure
  • Support leadership teams in establishing and executing recruitment and onboarding plans in line with the required project manpower schedules.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self-starter, planner and thrive under pressure in an ever-changing environment.
  • Have excellent customer services skills
  • Be an excellent team player working closely with all members ensuring that the overall recruitment functions targets are met
  • Have a positive can-do attitude, and constantly look to challenge and improve process and service levels.
  • Ability to manage a team to develop a suitable Training monitoring process

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience  (as per MEH matrix) 

  • Excellent (Advanced) IT Literate skills (Competent) - (predominantly MS Office & Adobe Pro etc.), Document control and use of collaborative shared platforms / B.C / TeamCenter, (Viewpoint (4P), Sharepoint and CEMAR)
  • Experience ideally in an engineering / industrial services focused role(s) agency or in-house
  • Experience in using and managing a centralised ATS (Ideally, I-Trent) 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work to challenging timescales 
  • Knowledge of various sourcing techniques and Platforms

Additional Qualifications/ Experience: 

  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively within a large team
  • Experience of reach back recruitment assessment exercises
  • Working knowledge of UK labour law and regulations
  • To be innovative by identifying and implementing new ways to do things to achieve better ways of working.

Context of role:

  • Scope: To provide competent support to the MEHA Site Team / Ability to manage a Team
  • Responsible for assessing SQEP, liaise the recruitment process monitor 
  • Scale: Training requirement to support the MEHA specific scope of work
