Job Description

The MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C, is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the challenging role of Area Management Liaison Co-Ordinator on site at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Your role will include managing and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders. You will also be accountable for key coordination for planning, construction, and logistics requirements for MEHA Areas/Buildings.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Define Suppliers requirements and ensure prompt delivery against MEH programme.
  • Ensure that value for money is achieved when delivering projects.
  • Provide integrated planning support for supplier services, focusing on one or multiple best value approach.
  • Being delivery focal point, promoting seamless team coordination on Area Management delivery.
  • Provide support for commercial proposals in response to supplier request and support services.
  • Coordinating and driving of supplier generated document to approved status for construction use via MEH and Client governance
  • Liaise with quality and building construction team to ensure quality of all Area management delivery are prioritised.
  • Support continuous improvement programmes to all Area management process/procedures and documents.
  • Directly report to SCS Coordination Lead or nominated deputy.
  • Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements.
  • Ensure flawless execution phase in all Area/Building are met as the project evolves by working closely with site wide technical team. Key Deliverables:
  • Monitor and liaise with site wide technical team to support the MEH Alliance programme
  • Being Area delivery management focal point, promoting seamless team coordination on all MEH workfaces
  • Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being implemented in support of a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements
  • Ensure weekly & monthly reports are compiled and produced in a timely manner for upward review
  • Ensure resource to meet organisational requirements are available in line with the delivery schedule.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, budget & quality, and reported as per the HPC requirements
Experience Required
  • Proven track record in nuclear power preferred
  • Experience working on major construction projects
  • Experienced in delivering and operating at a Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures Additional Qualifications/ Experience:

Qualifications Needed
  • Degree Qualification or Experience
  • Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
