Job Description

The MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C, is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the challenging role of Project Controls Lead on site at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset.

As part of this role you will lead the operation and maintenance of the Performance Management Tool which is utilised for capturing the construction progress from the on-site construction activities.

Supporting the Head of Project Controls with all management reporting, you will also deputise for the HK8010 Head of Project Controls at Performance related Meetings.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Site Supervision and Area Leads to ensure allocation sheets all submitted in a timely manner and data verified & validated prior to system load.
  • Prepare and own the processes that underpin the Reporting data.
  • Lead all reporting requirements inputs into the Weekly Dashboard.
  • Liaising with the necessary stakeholders in construction, planning and project controls.
  • Ensuring construction teams provide progress data in a timely manner.
  • Provide and demonstrate a positive commitment to Right first-time reporting.
  • Deliver Construction Progress/Productivity Reports.
  • Deliver Utilisation and Complexity reporting.
  • Accurately load ProCon with Task order information.
  • Reconcile/Load Task order Compensation events etc. into ProCon.
  • Support the use of the ProCon system to support the construction works and progress reporting of the MEH Alliance.
  • Chair weekly Performance Meeting to review weekly report outputs.
  • Lead Site Performance team and mentor apprentices.
  • Provide support to business improvement initiatives to enhance system reporting capabilities, speed, accuracy, frequency & presentation.
Experience Required
  • Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
  • Demonstrable experience of learning and utilising software applications.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, using own initiative
  • Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with other teams/functions
  • Positive, can-do mentality
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
