Job Description

The MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C, is seeking an experienced candidate to fill new and challenging Task Controller - Logistic role on site at Bridgwater, Somerset.

As part of this role, you will support Construction operatives to deliver MEH Alliance programme at site and the co-ordination of safe access routing to workfaces to all MEH Alliance construction works.

You will also provide support on the site wide construction delivery as and when time allows and create a procurement plan and purchases materials and service required to perform the tasks.

You will also communicates with suppliers for the delivery of material and services and with the stakeholders and involves discussions with various stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support the site construction services with Logistics ensuring all MEH Alliance Logistics activities are undertaken safely and responsibly
  • Ensure task register is established to support risk identification and management.
  • Ensure a smooth site constructions service logistics delivery by managing the interfaces between the MEHA and suppliers and, contractors.
  • Facilitate seamless flow of materials and services within MEHA programme by keeping records of all activities.
  • Focal point and liaison for all site construction services in all Logistics matters.
  • Ensure construction delivery efficiency is maximise through process development and management.
  • Ensure that contract is monitored, managed and delivered to ensure best for project safe and efficient logistics.
  • Liaise with all NNB and MEH Alliance departments on construction logistics matters.
  • Liaise with site wide technical team to ensure delivery of site services during construction.
  • Expedite all construction related services and report any bottleneck to delivery progress to site wide Areal Lead.
  • Ensure resources to meet organisational requirements
Experience Required
  • 3 Years' experience working within large scale projects
  • Experienced in delivering and operating at a Leadership Level
  • Experienced in working in a Joint Venture or Alliance environment
Qualifications Needed
  • HND/Degree qualification or industry experience
  • CITB Works Co-ordinator training certificate
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
