Job Description

This company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to support their growing portfolio of work onsite in Grangemouth.

The portfolio covers a range of plant upgrade and enhancement projects relating to life extension and regulatory compliance, shutdown and turnaround works, and maintenance and repair orders.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Schedule, monitor and controll all project engineering deliverables
  • Ensure the group budget targets are met
  • Direct and manage all engineering aspects from inception through completion
  • Set up and develop, resources and facilities management
  • Ensuring the allocation of staff in accordance with the needs of the project and required competencies
  • Deliver team objectives and business goals / plans by providing support, encouragement and clear direction to others
Experience Required
  • Previous experience as a project engineer / engineering manager leading and developing multidiscipline engineering teams in the delivery of capital expenditure and maintenance projects within regulated industry sectors
  • MEng in engineering
  • Full membership of a professional institution (e.g. IMechE)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiar with engineering delivery processes and demonstrate an understanding of technical standards
