Job Description
At Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics, our clients have complex assets situated in some of the most challenging environments including the Nuclear Industry where we provide decommissioning support to major sites including Sellafield.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To carry out labouring activities
- To undertake general driving duties around site
- To undertake basic slinging activities
- To assist with holiday cover on Silo off loading
- Provide general cleaning as per work requirements
- Set up equipment for trade use
- To assist trades men with their duties
- Ensuring good working practices to optimize time on the workface
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures as per AIMS/Client procedures
- Communicate daily with site management and keep them fully informed of all issues
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a valid FLT licence preferred
- Knowledge and familiarisation of a nuclear station
- Confined space stand by man ticket
- Sc or DV clearance (desirable or able to achieve)
- Keen to work in nuclear industry
- Open to training
