We currently have an opportunity for a Mechanical Superintendent to join our busy Altrad team at the Fawley Refinery.
Your role will be field-based overseeing all day-to-day activities adn supporting first line supervisors and steering progress in the field.
The Project team is tasked with delivering a wide variety of projects throughout the year encompassing both civils and mechanical structural activities – projects that range in complexity from simple repairs of steelwork such as a single beam replacement to a complex project such as a Cofferdam protection wall upgrade. To deliver excellence we have brought both Altrad & Trant together to operate as one company through collaboration. The team have oversight and ownership of all work for both companies including all support services/functions i.e. scaffolding, rope access etc.
- Mechanical Background ideally
- Field-Based presence overseeing all day-to-day activities
- Supporting First Line Supervisors and steering progress in the field
- Working with First Line teams to overcome barriers daily
- Updating project management team on daily progress and schedule compliance/completion
- Visibility of schedule to plan and organise future work
- Chair Good-2-Go process for all disciplines on all future work, next day, 3 day lookahead, one week/two week lookahead etc.
