The Waste Package Records Co‑ordinator supports the delivery of Legacy Waste Package Records and associated documentation projects within the Waste Inventory Team. You will be responsible for gathering, checking, organising, and preparing large volumes of technical records to ensure each waste consignment is fully and accurately documented. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a structured project environment.

Job Responsibilities

Documentation Management

  • Collect and organise documentation in both electronic and paper formats.
  • Scan, digitise, and catalogue paper records to support project requirements.
  • Review documentation against defined checklists to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Compile and assemble full documentation sets for each waste consignment.

Quality Control & Issue Tracking

  • Identify and record any issues or discrepancies found during document checks.
  • Support the preparation of documents and metadata for migration into new systems.
  • Participate in project progress meetings, providing updates and insights on documentation status.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Work closely with the Waste Inventory & Compliance Technical Assistant (acting as Records Coordinator) to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of records‑related activities across the Waste Inventory Team.
