Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Planner Scheduler to join our Sizewell C Project team in Bristol.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of job packs which will include resources, material and methodology. You will also assist the maintenance and business teams to achieve their goals in SSHE, reliability and cost competitiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Prepare job packs for work to be carried out, within target, manpower and resources and timelines for execution of the work.
  • Scheduling and delivery of the work to be carried out
  • Cost estimating using site planning and estimating software
  • Identify engineering requirements (PER's) for all trade onsite
  • Arrange transmittal of final engineering, fabrication, materials and specialist tooling
  • Quality assurance and quality control of work to be completed
  • Factor in post event overhaul and refurbishment of spares and equipment where necessary
  • Ordering of correct materials needed to complete the work
  • Validate materials to mitigate losses during execution
  • Ensure required quality standards are included in the work packs
  • Ensure that any planned modifications to process equipment is done so in accordance  to the Manager of Change (MOC) procedure
Experience Required
  • Knowledge of SHE and relevant legislation
  • Knowledge of risk control measures
  • Turnaround, maintenance and project experience in a multi-disciplines working environment
  • Field craft experience
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities
  • Team management and leadership
