Job Description
The MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the new and challenging role of NACE level 3 Coatings Technical Lead on site at Bridgwater, Somerset.
As the Coating focal point, you will drive and support a portfolio of high value, safety critical Strategic and Operational Coatings projects across our Hinkley Point C Nuclear new build Project.
We are keen to hear from NACE L3 Coatings Specialists who have a demonstrable track record in the development, management and delivery of Coatings Solutions to Industry
Roles and Responsibilities
- Working closely with a diverse pool of people and teams: Business Unit Leaders, Business Strategy Managers. You will lead, guide and coach teams in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate recommendations into near – term projects to be driven by Business Units
- Enable data driven and fact-based decision making to strategic andoperational questions to support and deliver growth and business improvements by providing high quality information and analysis in an impactful way.
- Strategy development & deployment of key initiatives and programs within all Coatings Program Management & Business Strategy projects overview.
- Manage and oversee Portfolio of Projects and initiatives under the commercial strategy scope for Coatings.
- Project manage specific global coatings initiatives – ranging from creation of market entry strategy to evaluation and integration of M&A projects specific to Coatings.
- Develop Organisational Capability Footprint by actively coach and develop strategy team members across the Coatings community supporting all personal and professional development.
- Building and communicating actionable strategy recommendations in alignment with stakeholders
- Conduct specific and ad hoc projects within Coating’s businesses - ranging from value add creation opportunities, market entry, geographical deep dive to unlock specific business opportunities a- providing high quality, meaningful, evidence-based business analyses
- Manage and oversee the portfolio of projects and initiatives under the commercial strategy scope for coatings
- Develop and lead the implementation of key identified programs and initiatives across regions and Business Units including development of potential scenarios / options and delivering recommendations to Management
- Identify strategic cross-functional /cross-country initiatives that may need to be converted into projects/ programs
- Provide Program Management & Business Strategy projects overview
- Project manage specific global coatings initiatives – ranging from creation of market entry strategy to evaluation and integration of M&A projects specific to Coatings.
