Job Description

The MEH Alliance on the Sizewell C Project, is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the new and challenging role of IT Analyst in Bristol, Somerset.

As an IT Analyst on Sizewell, you will be responsible for the implementation, support and maintenance of the IT systems that are used on the project.

You will work closely within the team and with our partners to ensure requirements gathering, , solution deployment, solution configuration and BAU support of digital solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work to ensure BAU changes and 1st to 4th Line support is seamless and adapt flexibly to meet business requirements based on operational demand.
  • Understand and document business requirements over the short, medium and longer term.
  • Engage with end users to understand business processes, gather feedback and facilitate improvements
  • Develop & deliver training, materials, support, advice to key users in order for users to better their experience within the systems suite and improve their data analytics
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive data/information
  • Responsible for the compressive testing, documentation and release management of new and modified IT solutions to be used on the project.
Experience Required
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to analyse complex situations and effectively solve problems and drive an excellence culture.
  • Experience of ICT systems, technical development, testing and system implementation
  • Understanding of GDPR and good practice of complex data management
  • Experience in providing IT support to highly regulated construction and engineering projects.
  • Confident and willing to challenge Norms - identifying and championing change & improvement.
  • An industrious can-do attitude supported by emotional and physical Resilience.
