Job Description

Our clients are looking for Health & Safety Advisors for engineering projects across the UK. These include nuclear new builds, decommissioning, nuclear waste, construction, oil, gas, renewable energy and major infrastructure projects across the UK.

As part of these roles, your will reporting to the HSEQ Manager & Site General / Operations Manager to ensure that legal, contractual and company requirements for the provision of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and advice to all employees are met through the completion of nominated key tasks and any other duties as required.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • To provide safety leadership, health and safety advice and assistance on all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) related issues in support of the Management Team and projects.
  • To maintaining a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety legislation, guidance and industry best practice.
  • To provide advice, support and monitoring of the behaviours and safe systems of work across various projects on the Sellafield Site.
  • Monitor, advise and ensure the safety of people and the environment.
Experience Required
  • Understanding of Safe system of works process
  • Accident/Incident investigation
  • Safety Inspections
  • Promote a positive and proactive culture towards health, safety and environmental matters at all levels within the project
Qualifications Needed
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Member of IOSH
  • Experience of working across multi-disciplined projects
  • CDM Regulations awareness
  • Security clearance (desirable, but can be supported)
  • P4 (Desirable, but can be supported)
