Job Description
Our client has multiple projects in the Auckland region related to Seismic Strengthening, Light Fabrication, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, On Site Welding including Welding Reinforcing and Temporary Works. You will work alongside our construction teams to deliver exiting projects.
We require welders / fabricators / fitters who are currently confident and competent with MIG / TIG Welding procedures. Mostly FCAW, MMAW, GMAW we undertake.
Proof of Vaccination will be required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Our preferred workforce are trade qualified with proven management experience in reinforced concrete, formwork, super structure and sub structure, preferably with a civil contractor or a commercial subcontractor that are specialists in these areas of delivery.
- Reporting to the Structural Steel Operation Manager, you must be able to read complex drawings, order materials and manage site resource including productivity and Health & Safety. Above all else you need to be able to demonstrate a reputable track record in structural steel fabrication / construction.
- The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical test including drug screening, and be eligible to work in New Zealand either as a resident or by holding a current work visa.
- Permanent and Contract positions available.
Experience Required
- 3 + Years experience
- New Zealand NZQA - (Preferred)
- Class 1 Driving License
- EWP Ticket (Preferred)
- Working @ Height (Preferred)
- Site Safe / Constructsafe Card
