Our client is one of New Zealand's largest and most trusted recruitment companies, specialising in the supply of skilled staff. They are looking for Fitter Welders and Turners for jobs in Auckland, Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and Christchurch
- Must have experience with Lathes, Milling machines and
- Experience and capability to read/interpret drawings.
- Prefer to have some welding experience (Mig and Tig)
- Manuel Milling and Turning experience
- Experience with Aluminium, Steel and stainless
- General Machining
- Equipment set up
- Forming, cutting, grinding, shaping, bending metal sections
- Preparing and installing hydraulic and pneumatic lines and pipes
At least 3 years’ experience and preference for a formal qualification. If no formal qualification, then we will consider how many years the applicant has.
Depends on area/location and also experience ($30 - $35 starting contract rate typically) – but we will consider higher rates on a case-by-case basis depending on the applicants’ years of experience/formal qualifications/NZ experience (if any)
