Our client is one of New Zealand's largest and most trusted recruitment companies, specialising in the supply of skilled staff. They are looking for electricians for jobs in Auckland, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and Dunedin.
- Most areas require carpenters who have a background in domestic and commercial electrical work – we do not have opportunities currently for industrial electricians (those from industrial/mining backgrounds).
- Applicants need to be comfortable working on construction sites, new build construction as well as some maintenance opportunities (more in certain areas though).
- Need to have experience installing cable trays & plastic/steel trunking/conduit
- EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration Board) assessment resulting in 500 hours or less to be supervised as an ‘electrician’.
Depends on area/location and also experience ($30 - $35 starting contract rate typically) – but we will consider higher rates on a case-by-case basis depending on the applicants’ years of experience/formal qualifications/NZ experience (if any)
